Finding the door
102 Núi Ngọc, Cát Hải, Hải Phòng
Book ahead for dinner, especially at weekends. One guest waited an hour on a Saturday evening, and another waited 15–20 minutes before being able to order. The restaurant is near Cát Bà square and easy to find. Sources do not agree on opening hours: Google Maps lists 09:00–21:30 and Tripadvisor lists 07:00–22:30. Check before you go. Cards are accepted with no extra fee. The restaurant takes reservations, and Sunworld recommends calling ahead to book. Free Wi-Fi is available. The owner and staff speak English (many Google Maps reviews).

Where you sit, who to bring
Most of the customers are foreigners. Evenings are busy, and sometimes every table is taken. Early lunchtime can see only a few occupied tables. Sunworld says the place is busy from 3 pm to 9 pm. The outdoor area has smoking tables, and two guests found the smoke unpleasant. The restaurant is a single-storey space where guests sit outdoors under a roof, looking onto Núi Ngọc street. It is cooled by fans and has no air conditioning; one guest describes the owner switching on three fans for a hotpot table. A family runs it, and the owner herself serves guests. In 2025 many guests also mentioned a dog named Lu who greeted visitors.

Source
The name, the address at 102 Núi Ngọc, the coordinates and the fact that the restaurant is open come from its Google Maps profile, read in a browser on 21 Oct 2026, together with the 780 reviews on that profile. The newest review dates from about 18 Oct 2026, and the owner replied to a review in about Sep 2026, signing as 'nhà hàng yummy 2' (Yummy 2 restaurant). The house number was checked against Tripadvisor, ArrivalGuides, Sunworld (article of 9 Jun 2024) and VnGuide. OpenStreetMap has a separate point for the restaurant about 14 m from the Google Maps pin; that point was renamed from 'Yummy restaurant' to 'Yummy 2 Restaurant' on 2 Nov 2024. The atmosphere, the crowd, waiting times, reservations, card payment, the English menu and guest-reported prices (oysters, steak, hotpot) are pieced together from many independent Google Maps reviews written between about Nov 2025 and Oct 2026. Their dates are worked out from the age each review displays, so they are only approximate. The vegetarian options were also checked against Tripadvisor and OpenStreetMap. The single-storey space and the budget positioning come from Sunworld (9 Jun 2024). The 'budget' price level rests on guest-reported dish prices, Tripadvisor's '$' rating and the Sunworld article. Rejected: the phone number 0977 950 906 that Tripadvisor, Kavo, Sunworld and VnGuide list for the restaurant, because the Facebook page 'Yummy Restaurant | Cát Bà' uses that same number for the branch at 140 Núi Ngọc. The number on Google Maps (+84 974 299 794) has no second source yet, so it is not recorded. Opening hours are not recorded because six sources give five different time ranges. Not used: the dish list and the 50,000–100,000 VND price range from the Kavo blog (posted 13 Mar 2023, with no date for when the figures were written), Sunworld's figure of 500 seats, and the 'modern decor, cocktail bar' description that no review confirms. The Google Maps profile also contains reviews two or more years old that belong to other businesses; those reviews were not used.
