What Vietlume is
Vietlume is a map of places in Vietnam told through sourced facts — heritage sites, streets and markets, nature, places to eat, travel seasons and day-by-day itineraries.
Everything Vietlume says about a place can be traced back to where it was read.
“Điện gió Phú Quý có công suất lắp máy 8 MW với 3 tua bin”Quoted as read: “Phu Quy wind farm has an installed capacity of 8 MW with 3 turbines.”
Second check: OpenStreetMap has exactly 3 wind turbines in the north of the island.

Where the data comes from
- Public sources A place's official site, government bodies, the press, and open data such as Wikipedia, Wikidata and OpenStreetMap.
- Read and quoted word for word AI agents read the sources. Every fact has to carry the exact words of the place it was read.
- Trying to disprove it A separate review layer reopens the source, looks for other sources, and tries to disprove each fact.
- Shown with its source Only what still stands reaches the page, with its source and the day it was read.
No source, no answer. Vietlume leaves a field empty rather than guess.
Prices and opening hours change, so they only show with a dated source. Check again before you go.

Vietlume has no ads or paid placements today; no place ranks higher because it paid. If ads ever come, they will be clearly marked.
Place owners can confirm their place's details through Vietlume Studio. A place its owner confirmed shows like any other, with the Confirmed by the owner mark.
Who makes Vietlume
Vietlume is designed and built end to end by one person in Hanoi, with AI agents doing the reading of sources and the drafting. Vietlume launched in 2026.
Vietlume lives on readers who choose to support it.
